VCSU now offers certificate programs in two exciting areas of Information Technology: Enterprise Applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software. These unique programs combine studies in traditional IT subjects with hands-on experience using software that drives today's business environment to give students an appreciation for both the technology and the business strategies that drive the technology.

Business Administration (B.S.)

This versatile degree program includes coursework in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, general Management and a variety of business technologies. Areas of concentration include Accounting, Finance, Management or Marketing. Students are encouraged to select a Business Internship and courses outside the Business and Information Technology Divisions.

Business Education (B.S. in Ed)

Available as either a major or composite major, this program prepares students to teach in junior and senior high schools in such subjects as keyboarding, accounting, general business, entrepreneurship and microcomputer applications. Requires completion of Teacher Education Requirements including the Professional Education Sequence (30 hours).

Career and Technical Education (B.S., B.S. in ED)

VCSU's CTE program prepares quality instructors in the trade, industry, technical, and health education service areas. Graduates may teach in public school CTE programs, career and technical center programs, and post-high-school settings such as junior colleges or technical colleges. B.S. in Ed requires completion of the Professional Education Sequence - Secondary.

Computer Information Systems (B.A., B.S.)

This program combines a solid foundation of contemporary Business coursework with study of the latest technologies. CIS subjects include several programming languages, networking, Internet technologies, and Information Systems Security.
