Teacher Preparation

Valley City State University has been preparing Spanish teachers since 1981. The 32 credit hour major includes a study abroad component that adds an immersion experience to ensure conversational, as well as, cultural competence. Students may choose to study in one of VCSU's two sister universities in México or will be guided to find a similar experience in another Spanish speaking area.
