Study in a Spanish Speaking Country

Students who are planning on a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Spanish must spend a semester studying in a Spanish speaking country.

VCSU students can choose to study for a semester or a year in La Paz, Mexico at Universidad Autonoma de Baja California Sur (UABCS).However, they may choose to visit another Spanish country.

The Spanish program at VCSU and the Study Abroad Office at MSU is offering the opportunity for student to travel this summer to Peru. The trip dates are from May 24 to July 1. This opportunity not only offers travel or fun, but also the opportunity to be part of the Peruvian culture and its language.

This unique program is open to all majors, so you do not need to speak Spanish to participate. Each student will take a placement test at the Language Institute in Lima, and classes will be tailored to your language level.
