VCSU Theatre produces four shows every school year, providing the community with a full season of live theatre. We produce comedies, dramas, classics and original scripts in two busy venues. These productions provide a showcase for our students' work as actors, directors and designers.

VCSU THEATRE PRESENTS THEATRE B'S PRODUCTION OF JOAN DIDION'S NEW PLAY THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING
The Year of Magical Thinking will be presented at 7 PM on May 3, 2010 in Theatre 320. Following the 90 minute show, Faith in Action, Hospice, and VCSU Theatre have assembled a panel of experts to lead a discussion about loss and the grieving process. Tickets are only $8 for general admission and $4 for senior citizens and students*. Please call the VCSU Theatre Box Office at 845-7320 to reserve tickets. Seating is limited. This comedy by A.R. Gurney explores the most important room in the house. In this room we share our dreams, explore our deepest fears, and often feel most at home, even when we aren't at home. Actors in this show will stretch their performance skills as they portray characters that span in age from six to seventy-six.
Valley City: Comedy Tonight! – Theatre 320

As a multi-media production, VCCT will allow students opportunities to collaborate across traditional artistic boundaries. Audiences will participate in the fun, as students perform sketches, music, standup comedy, and improvisation as they weave short films into the mix.
Searching for David's Heart – Theatre 320

Winner of several awards, including Kennedy Center's New Visions/New Voices and the American Alliance of Theater and Education Project, Searching for David's Heart aired on the ABC Family Channel in 2004. The story follows the journey of a young girl as she searches for the recipient of her dead brother's heart as this play touches many hearts.
