Mark Arneson Mark Arneson is a graduate of VCSU. In 1993, Mark produced and wrote all the songs for the critically acclaimed jazz c.d. "Flammable Jammies". Featuring some of Minneapolis' finest musicians. After hearing and doing the liner notes of the CD, Tom Surowicz (Mpls.Star Tribune) calls Mark "A man of vision, hooks, chops galore, and abundant songcraft."
Justin Goldberg Justin Goldberg is a 15-year veteran of the music industry and has held executive postions with Sony Music, Laundry Room Records, Tonos, Riffage and The Online Music Channel. A well known advocate for independent artists, he has worked with such varied artists as Martin Sexton, Dee Dee Ramone, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, and Willie Nelson. He is currently CEO of indie911.com and Label Services Network, a leading music resource center for the indie labels and artists.
Joe DeMasi Joe DeMasi got his start in the folk clubs and coffeehouses of New York City, where he was born and raised. Attaining local success in that folk scene he worked and shared the stage with such folk music greats as Harry and Tom Chapin, Christine Lavin and Oscar Brand. The 80's found Joseph in one of New York's hottest party bands. His love for acoustic music took him frequently to Nashville where he wrote, recorded and produced with some of Nashville's top musicians.
Jocelyn Hagen Jocelyn Hagen Takach (b. 1980), a native of Valley City, North Dakota, graduated Magna Cum Laude and with distinction from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota, in May, 2003, with two bachelor of music degrees: vocal music education and theory and composition. In 2005, she received four national honors for her vocal writing. She completed a masters in composition and theory as a fellow at the University of Minnesota. She is also the President of Graphite Publishing.
George Howard George Howard was the President of Rykodisc in 1999. Worked w/ artists and catalogs including Robert Cray, Frank Zappa, Medeski Martin and Wook, Morphine, Nick Drake, Kelly Willis, Kelly Joe Phelps, and others; Professor/Executive in Residence College of Business Administration, Loyola University New Orleans; Vice President of Artists House Music Foundation and Editor/Writer for ArtistsHouseMusic.com and recently contributed to the start up of TuneCore.com.
David Miles Huber David Miles Huber is a professional musician in the downtempo dance genre, who has produced CDs that have sold over the million mark. His latest music and collaborations can be heard on the 51bpm label(www.51bpm.com). With a degree in music technology from Indiana University, he was the first American to be admitted into the prestigious Tonmeister program at the U of Surrey in Guildford, Surrey, England. He has authored numerous books on the subjects of recording and electronic music.
