VCSU is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA),the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and the Association of Schools of Music (NASM). The community School of the Arts is a certified member of the national Guild of Community Schools of the Arts. The Kathryn Center for Lifelong Learning is a member of the International Association of Continuing Education and Training.
