VCSU is located on the south end of Valley City, a town full of warmth and personality and a
population of approximately 7,000. Bordered by a forested hillside to the south and the
Sheyenne River to the north, this campus is one of the most attractive of the eleven campuses
in the North Dakota University System. The numerous historic features of the campus have earned
it a listing on the National Register of Historic Places as an "Historic District." Campus
facilities are also served by the latest technology including high-speed wireless internet access
from virtually every building and the latest audio/visual technologies in every classroom.
