Allen Memorial Library, named for Carlos E. Allen who was President of the university from 1918 to 1936, contains four levels of resources with over 182,000 print and audiovisual items. The library provides wireless access to the Internet from any location within the facility and over 100 subscription-based electronic resources and aggregated databases, as well. The facility itself features a unique Curriculum Library with a specialized collection of resources for both pre-service and in-service teachers. The building is open 6 days a week during the academic year and online access to many electronic resources is always available to the VCSU community.
