Lokken Field, named in honor of Roscoe L. Lokken, President of VCSU from 1946 - 1970, is the site of all Viking football home games. The stadium has a capacity of 1,800 and includes such facilities as a press box, concession stands, and high-speed networking facilities to allow streaming of games via the internet. The field is on a site that was originally purchased in 1916 as a college farm and was converted to an athletic complex that included the stadium, football field, and an all-weather track in 1967. The facility was built through contributions of 430 donors in a drive spearheaded by President Lokken and Athletic Director Bill Osmon. Photo courtesy of Dutton's Valley Gallery.
