McFarland Hall

McFarland Hall

McFarland Hall is the main administrative building on campus, and houses the offices of Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, Registrar, Student Academic Services, Office of the President, Business, Alumni, the Academic Vice President, Counseling, and the Student Affairs Vice President. A number of the professor's offices and classrooms for majors in Business, Information Technology, Communication Arts, and Education are found in McFarland. If you are looking for a job on or off campus you will find our Career Services office located on the second floor. FMC Printing is also located in McFarland Hall. McFarland is also home to Theatre 320, a contemporary "black box" theatre with historic and elegant features.

Originally named "Old Main" when construction began in 1892, McFarland Hall is now named after George McFarland, the first president of the college from 1892 - 1918. The famous clock tower, the single most recognizable feature of the VCSU campus, was the inspiration for the VCSU logo. In the early 1990's, McFarland went through a series of renovation projects that restored its main floor to its historic beauty.
