The human resources curriculum provides the breadth of study required of human services professionals to uniquely approach the process of meeting human needs through an interdisciplinary knowledge base. The focus of human services is on prevention, remediation of problems, and maintaining the commitment to improving the quality of life for local, national and global service populations. The program is influenced with suggested curriculum from the National Organization for Human Services.
Note: The human resources minor is an excellent way to expand one's global perspective and to develop a secondary area of expertise. This minor alone does not completely fulfill the requirements for a university degree. The student must also complete a major and other requirements.
