The VCSU Environment Task Force is hosting activities for faculty, staff and students April 20 through 23 in recognition of International Earth Day on April 22.

The first Earth Day in the U.S. was celebrated on April 22, 1970 and was founded by
Senator Gaylord Nelson in the United States. Celebrations are now held in more than 192 countries around the world. Earth Day is meant to show support for protecting the environment. VCSU is proud to be part of that movement.

A culmination of Earth Day will be the 4th Annual VCSU Earth Day Festival on May 6, 2015, on the campus of Valley City State University. Watch for details on this spectacular event coming soon.
