Earth Week Schedule 2015 @ VCSU

Monday, April 20

BLUE Day - wear blue in support of clean, healthy water supplies.

11:00 am - 1:00pm
Information Tables and activity in the Student Center.
Design your own Earth Day Tee. FREE tee to the first 30 --- or bring your own colored tee to design.

Ecological Footprint
Everyone on VCSU campus are encouraged to go to one of the following web sites to identify the ecological footprint you will leave on planet earth. Faculty are encouraged to remind students to check it out – have your class do it together and discuss results – it only takes 10 minutes.

Tuesday, April 21

WHITE Day - wear white in support of a clean planet.

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Information Tables and FREE activity in the Student Center.
Guess the bottle caps for PRIZES.

Wednesday, April 22

GREEN Day - wear green in support of keeping our planet green.

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Information Tables and FREE activity in the Student Center.
Build your own “b green” pin to wear all week. FREE to the first 100 participants.

12:00 noon
Enjoy "green" lunch day and viewing of “The Lorax” in the cafeteria.

2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
VCSU Highway Clean-up – vehicles will leave VCSU at 2 and 3 p.m. Watch for email messages regarding this event.

Thursday, April 25

Yellow Day - wear yellow in support of a sun-shining, healthy atmosphere for our planet

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Information Tables and FREE activity in the Student Center.
Guess the plastic bottles in the bag for PRIZES.

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
VCSU sports teams will work with Valley City to help with spring clean-up at one of the city’s beautiful parks.

4:30 p.m. Campus Clean Up –  Sponsored by Fish and Wildlife Club
Meet at the south entrance of the Student Center and you will be sent to areas on campus ready for spring clean-up. Gloves and bags will be provided.

Wednesday, May 6 - EARTH DAY FESTIVAL
