Building Information

McFarland Hall is the first building to be constructed on the Valley City State University campus. Construction on the building was completed in 1892 and was originally called "Old Main" and was renamed McFarland Hall after VCSU's 2nd President, George A. McFarland.

McFarland currently houses the administrative offices, multiple classrooms, faculty offices and a small theatre.

Available Spaces

Theatre 320 is located in the center of McFarland on 3rd floor. It is home to many of VCSU's own theatre productions and features a unique setting for the audience and cast. Theatre 320 offers a seating arrangement that circles the stage, completely surrounding the cast with the audience.

Theatre 320 has mainly been used for theatrical productions and features a lighting and sound system with a sound booth and seating for 100 audience members.
