The Master of Education in Technology Education requires a minimum of 36 hours of coursework an action research report, a field experience, and the presenting of a comprehensive portfolio. The curriculum is structured around a set of course requirements that provide a broad foundation in education, research, and technology. In addition to the 12 hours of core courses, students will complete the following 15 hours of required courses: o Standards-Based Curriculum and Methods o Design for Engineering o Invention and Innovation o Design, Technology, and Engineering for Children o Research and Assessment in Technology Education An additional 6 hours of electives is needed to complete the coursework in the degree as well as 3 hours of Special Program Requirements.
