The VCSU Emergency Management Team is sponsoring emergency response training for students, faculty and staff Nov. 12 and 13.

The purpose of the training is to educate the VCSU campus community on emergency situations that have the potential to impact our campus.

Fred Thompson, Valley City police chief, will present the training session “How to Respond: Active Shooter and Shelter-in-Place Training and Discussion,” which will be repeated three times in Rhoades Science Center Auditorium (Rhoades 102).

Sessions are scheduled for Nov. 12 from 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and Nov. 13 from 3–4:30 p.m. and 6–7:30 p.m.

Emergency resources may be found online at www.vcsu.edu/emergencymanagement.
