Valley City State University’s Health Services, with the support of Essentia Health and Sanford Health, will sponsor the VCSU Wellness Fair on Wednesday, March 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Center on campus.
The Wellness Fair will take place in the Student Center hallway, upper-level lounge and Skoal Room.
According to Pat Egeberg, VCSU director of health services and worksite wellness coordinator, the aim of the Wellness Fair is to motivate participants to make positive health behavior changes and increase awareness of local health services and resources.
Open to members of the Valley City State and greater Valley City communities free of charge, the Wellness Fair offers literature and free samples, fitness testing, blood pressure monitoring and door prizes. In addition, body composition analysis using the InBody 270 analyzer, a $20 value, will also be available at a cost of $5.
