Valley City, ND -- Tyrone Terry scored 24 points and Jon Lindahl added 16 to spark the Vikings past the Golden Eagles 76-73 at the Bubble at Valley City State Saturday night.
UMC Crookston held a three point advantage at halftime and continued to build the lead to double digits in the second half before Brady Ernst's jumper gave the Vikings the lead midway through the last stanza.
The Golden Eagles Ahmid Palmer and Justin Henry came as advertised leading UMC with 19 and 17 points respectively.
The win closes out the Vikings non-conference schedule with a 6-2 mark. Crookston falls to 1-2 on the season.
