The Viking coaching staff selected their players of the week for the South Dakota Tech game and the Dakota Athletic Conference players of the week.
The City Lights Players of the Game were wide receiver Ray Caylor and defensive back Chauncey Calhoun.
Caylor, a senior from Washburn, ND lead all receivers with six catches for 53 yards and also returned a punt nine yards.
Calhoun, a freshmen from Glendale, AZ recorded 8 tackles and broke up two passees. He also chipped in on the offensive side with 4 catches for 55 yards.
The Broken Spoke Special Teams Player of the Game went to Shane Ross. Ross, a freshman kicker from Titusville, coverted two of three field goals and was good on his only extra point attempt of the day.
The Subway Big Hit of the Game went to Jon Rogers. The sophomore from North Pole, AK received recognition for the impact he put on Mary quarterback Matt Pearce, forcing a fumble that lead to a touchdown return by Nate Pecoraro.
The Pizza Corner Practice Players of the were Brandon Albrecht and Joe Maresh. Albrecht, is a junior quarterback from Wimbledon, ND and Maresh is a junior defensive end from Glencoe, MN.
