The Viking coaching staff selected their players of the week for the Minot State game.

The City Lights Players of the Game were wide receiver Justin Folk and linebacker Jeremy Payne.

Folk, a junior from Milbank, SD had four catches for 47 yards and also had a long reception called back and induced a pass interference penalty.

Payne, a senior from Bertah, MN recorded 16 tackles, broke up a pass, force a fumble and returned another fumble 25 yards for the opening touchdown.

The Broken Spoke Special Teams Player of the Game went to Brad Elliott. Elliott, a freshman returner from Valley City, put the Vikings in good field position with his return following Minot State taking their first lead of the game.

The Subway Big Hit of the Game went to Mike Weber. Weber is a sophomore defensive back from Wasilla, AK.

The Pizza Corner Practice Players of the were Barrett Sczepanski and B.J. Ingram. Sczepanski, is a senior tight end from Stephen, MN and Ingram is a senior defensive end from Cocoa, FL.
