Dickinson State Tabbed Favorite, Vikings Second

(Dickinson, ND) -- Dickinson State is picked to win their fifth straight Dakota Athletic Conference football championship in the DAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

The Blue Hawks, who shared the crown with Valley City State in 2005, picked up five first place votes to top the balloting. The Vikings received a pair of first place votes to finish second in the poll and Black Hills State is third with the final first place selection. Minot State, Jamestown College and Dakota State follow in fourth, fifth and sixth with South Dakota School of Mines and Mayville State tied for seventh.

The poll is conducted by the Dakota Athletic Conference.
