Gulf Breeze, FL – Dustin Grabowska's two out, full count two-run home run lifted the Vikings to a 7-6 extra inning win over Fisher College at Shoreline Park.

It was the second time in two innings that VCSU rallied from a deficit. Trailing 5-4 in the ninth inning Grabowska opened the frame getting hit by a pitch and advanced to third on a single by Jeremy Wiebe. Grabowska scored one out later on a single by Chauncey Calhoun. Extra effort by Wiebe on a passed ball tied the game and sent the Vikings into extra frames.

Fisher scored on a two-out single to take the lead back in the tenth.

In the home half of the tenth, Braden Raskob-Smith singled to open the inning before two strikeouts brought Grabowska to the plate. Duncan Sourisseau running for Raskob-Smith stole second to get into scoring position before Grabowska sent a 3-2 offering towering over the scoreboard in right and was mobbed at home plate by teammates.

Valley City spotted starter Drew Calanchie a 3-run lead after one inning on an error, a walk and hits by Calhoun and Pat Olson.

The Falcons took a 5-3 lead in the third, capped off by a two-run home run by Steve D'Entremont and the score would stay that way until the ninth.
