Walkine eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark for the Vikings this season 

Junior running backAnthony Walkine and junior wide receiver Chauncey Calhoun were named to the Dakota Athletic Conference first team offense while sophomore tight end Jason Hollet, senior offensive lineman Michael Hollet, and junior offensive lineman Dustin Brandt were picked for the second team offense.

Walkine finished the season with 1027 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns. He also had 20 receptions for 175 yards. Walkine earned DAC offensive player of the week honors on November 11th when he carried the ball 28 times for 146 yards and three touchdowns and added three receptions for 26 yards in helping the Vikings to a 45-27 triumph over Peru State, NE.

Despite being left off the all conference team, junior quarterback Jason Beilke surpassed the 2000 yard mark and was second in the conference in passing yards with 2011. Beilke was the DAC offensive player of the week on October 28th when he set a school record for passing yards in a game with 425 as he led the Vikings to a 34-3 triumph over South Dakota Mines. In the win, he was 20 of 30 for 425 yards with no interceptions and two touchdowns.

Calhoun averaged 24.5 yards per-catch and led the Vikings with 637 yards receiving while splitting time on the defensive side of the ball. Calhoun was the DAC offensive player of the week on October 7th when he had six receptions for 225 yards and three touchdowns and added one carry for 31 yards as the Vikings topped Mayville State, 29-21. He also set a school record with a 98 yard touchdown reception.

Jason Hollet, Michael Hollet and Dustin Brandt were recognized as second team all conference performers for their roles as blockers in allowing the Viking offense to rank second in passing and fourth in rushing in the DAC. The offensive line also allowed the fewest sack in the conference (8).
