Important Information from the VCSU Housing Office

—Staying over Christmas Break
The residence halls will be closed during the Semester Break. The Semester Break begins on Friday December 19 at 5:00 PM. The halls will remain closed until Sunday, January 11 at 12:00 noon. Students with unique circumstances may request permission to remain in the halls at a charge of $40 per week. All requests must be made by Monday, December 8. Students required staying on campus due to on-campus employment or athletic participation will be allowed to stay at no cost.

—Changing Meal Plans
Students wishing to make a change in their meal plan for the spring semester must do so by December 15. Stop by the Housing Office and request a Room & Board Change Form.

—Moving Off Campus
The room and board contract is a binding contract for the entire academic year. All students (other than graduating, or transferring students) wishing to be approved for a room & board release must appeal by completing a Room & Board Change form by December 15. Students will be responsible for the terms of the contract unless they have been notified otherwise.

2004-2005 Scholarship Application Deadline 12/5/2003
The deadline to apply for next fall is this Friday. The application is simple but must be completed and submitted to the Financial Aid Office by 4:30 PM (this Friday).

Remind your sons/daughters (if they haven’t already done so) to stop by the Financial Aid Office and complete the necessary application. Students have been already notified numerous times by emails and posting around campus. Has your son/daughter met the deadline?

Time is running out!
