FB: Kosel is DAC Offensive Player of the Week

For the Week of October 11-17, 2010:
Offense: Trent Kosel; Valley City State; Senior; Quarterback; Edgeley, ND
Kosel completed 12 of 17 passes for 167 yards and six touchdowns and added 20 yards rushing on nine carries in the Vikings' 54-10 win over Dakota State.
With his performance Trent broke the single game record for touchdown passes. He surpassed the old record of five that was shared by: Brandon Albrecht, Chad Lueck, Jeremy Peschel, Jason Beilke, and Mark Fabian.
Some of the highlights of Trent's career have been, being selected as the DAC nominee for the A. O. Duer Award, two time NAIA Scholar All-American, and most recently throwing six touchdown passes on senior day.

Defense: Everett Brill; South Dakota Mines; Senior; Linebacker; Elko, NV
Brill had five solo tackles and five assists tackles, including two sacks and 4.5 total tackles for a loss as the 15th ranked Hardrockers topped Minot State on the road, 10-6.
Special Teams: Dominique Bradley; Mayville State; Freshman; Defensive Back; San Diego, CA. Bradley returned a punt 99 yards for a touchdown and had six kickoff returns for 173 yards in the Comets' 44-7 setback at Jamestown College.
