Valley City State University Men's Basketball senior Sekani Milligen has been named the Association for Indepdendent Athlete's (A.I.I.) Male Athlete of the Week.

Milligen, a 6-4 senior guard from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., averaged 23 points a game for the Vikings at the Dickinson State Milanovich Basketball Classic. Milligen shot 58.6 percent (17 of 29) from the field and 52.6 percent (10 of 19) from 3-point range.

Along with his 46-point output, he also finished with nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and a blocked shot.
