After starting the game on a 9-0 run, the Valley City State Women's Basketball team never trailed en route to their most convincing victory of the season with a 90-49 win over visiting Presentation College.

The Saints responded to cut the Viking lead to a two point deficit on two occasions early in the first half, but it was all Valley City State after that.

An efficient offense that saw the Vikings shoot 47% for each half and nail six three point shots in the first half and seven in the second paced Valley City State in the win.

The Viking offensive balance was on display as eight players scored at least six points led by Brittany Lehner who scored 15 in just fourteen minutes of play. Freshmen Ashli Lee and Erika Ettl both came off the bench to net double figures for Valley City State scoring 13 and 12 respectively. The Vikings also had three players with at least four assists led by Katelyn Ralston with five as the team totaled 25 for the game.

The win, the Vikings seventh straight, puts the team at 7-1 overall on the season. Valley City State will play their third game of the week on Friday when they host Trinity Bible College at 5:30 PM at the W. E. Osmon Fieldhouse.
