For the second time this season, Sekani Milligen has been named the Association for Independent Athletes Male Athlete of the Week.

Milligen, a 6-foot-4 senior guard from Fort Lauderdale, FL, averaged 25.5 points a game in wins over Dakota State and Oglala Lakota College. He hit 10 of 20 shots from beyond the 3-point arc and was 17-of-31 from the field. He grabbed eight rebounds and had two assists and one steal.

For the season, Milligen is averaging 19.9 points per game, ranking him 13th in the nation in scoring average and shooting 43.8% from the three point line. He leads the NAIA Division II ranks in 3-Pt Field Goals Made per Game with 4.048 and is third in Total 3-Point Field Goals Made (85).

Milligen leads the Vikings into a Wednesday tilt with A.I.I. rival Jamestown College. Game time at the W. E. Osmon Fieldhouse is slated for 7:30 PM.
