The 2013 NSAA volleyball season will consist of eight conference matches with five teams competing for the conference crown. The NSAA Volleyball Conference Postseason Tournament play kicks off on Nov. 2. The NSAA volleyball championship match is scheduled for Nov. 9 at the highest seed remaining.
Sarah Becker, a senior middle blocker from Jamestown, was selected as the NSAA Volleyball Preseason Player of the Year voted by the conference coaches.
Valley City State's defensive specialist Emily Plowman (So., Simi Valley, Calif.) and middle hitter Aurissa Martens (Sr., Manitou, Manitoba) were among the players named to the NSAA Preseason Volleyball Team.
