Jamestown (N.D.) is the top seed for the upcoming inaugural North Star Athletic Association Volleyball Postseason Tournament. The single-elimination tournament kicks off on Saturday, Nov. 2 with a quarterfinal match.
The tournament starts with a quarterfinal match between No. 5 seed Presentation (S.D.) (8-16 overall, 1-7 NSAA) and No. 4 seed Dakota State (S.D.) (7-22, 2-6 NSAA) on Nov. 2. DSU will host the match at the DSU Fieldhouse on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. in Madison, S.D.
The Jimmies (24-8), who captured the NSAA Volleyball Conference regular-season title outright with an 8-0 overall record, will host the winner of the quarterfinal match between PC and DSU on Wednesday, Nov. 6. The first semifinal match take place at the Hansen Center in Jamestown, N.D. at 7 p.m.
The second NSAA Volleyball Conference Postseason Tournament's semifinal match features No. 2 seed Mayville State (17-16, 6-2 NSAA) hosting No. 3 seed Valley City State (N.D.) (13-23, 3-5 NSAA) on Nov. 6. First serve is set for 7 p.m. at the Lewy Lee Fieldhouse in Mayville, N.D.
The semifinal winners will play in the first-ever NSAA Volleyball Conference Postseason Tournament's championship match on Saturday, Nov. 9. The site will be held at the highest seed remaining in the tournament – which will be determined after the results of the semifinal matches. The championship match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
