Vangstad Special Scholarship (1992)
Established by an endowment gift of $10,000 from Lena and Thilda Vangstad, who served the University as faculty members for a period spanning four decades. Upon their retirement in 1971, the Vangstad Auditorium was named in their honor. The scholarship is intended to assist academically promising students who have special or emergency financial needs. 'Special or emergency financial needs' refers to financial assistance, which cannot be met using standard financial aid procedures. There is no application deadline date and application can be made at any time throughout the academic year. Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office.
