Matt Edland Memorial Scholarship (2004)

The Matt Edland Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in the Technology Education program including both on campus and distance education. The amount of the scholarship will be $500 and is renewable. The scholarship is available to upper level students majoring in Technology Education with a GPA of 3.00 or higher. Scholarship selection will be made by the Technology Department. Matt graduated from Valley City State University in 1981. While a student at VCSU, he served as the president of the Student Senate. Matt later returned to VCSU as a professor in the Technology Education Department. He passed away in May of 2004.
