Prairie Waters Education and Research Center will be holding a Water 101 workshop February 15th and 16th at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park in Mandan, ND.  The workshop will cover the basics of water and water quality. Workshop topics include: water systems—similarities and differences, watersheds, water phases and chemistry, macroinvertebrates as pollution indicators, point and non-point source pollution.  There will be activities, models and demonstrations during the workshop which will be useful for participants that work with students or the public.
