The VCSU Safety Office offers various training for employees and students. You will be notified via email of trainings taking place.
- Ergonomics
- Office Safety
- General Safety Procedures
- Weather Safety
- Defensive Driving (required to operate a state vehicle)
- AED/CPR Training
Upcoming Safety Training:
1. American Red Cross Blended Learning- Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid Online Training The online training portion is to be completed before the skills portion-dates listed below.
- Adult CPR/AED Skills testing on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, 9:00am @ the Bubble **Must have previously taken the online portion of the training.*
- Pediatric CPR/AED Skills testing on Thursday, February 7, 2013, 9:00am @ the Bubble **Must have previously taken the online portion of the training.*
- First Aid Skills testing on Friday, February 8, 2013, 9:00am @ the Bubble **Must have previously taken the online portion of the training.*
2. Potential Defensive Driving Course- March 14, 2013, 8:00am-12:00pm, VCSU IVN Lab (TBD).
