The Microsoft OneDrive app is an internet-based storage system. OneDrive allows you to save and access documents from a wide range of devices such as a computer or phone. The main features of OneDrive are Uploading Files and Folders to OneDrive and Managing Files and Folders in OneDrive.

Uploading Files and Folders to OneDrive

Uploading Files and Folders to OneDrive allows you to access your files and folders from a variety of devices and locations. The following steps will help you upload your files and folders to OneDrive.

  1. Click “Files” found on the left-hand side of the screen.
  2. Click “Upload” found toward the top of the screen.
  3. Click “Files” or “Folder” depending on what you want to upload to OneDrive.
  4. Locate the file(s) and/or folder(s) you want to upload to OneDrive.

Managing Files and Folders in OneDrive

OneDrive offers you options to share, download, delete, move, copy, or rename files and folders within OneDrive. The following steps will help you manage your files and folders in OneDrive.

  1. Locate the file or folder you want to manage.
  2. Right click (two finger click on Mac) the file or folder you want to manage.
  3. Click the option you would like to perform.
  4. Follow any additional steps provided by the application.
