High school sophomores, juniors and seniors who have at least a 3.0 GPA and are progressing toward completion of core courses may enroll as early entry students at VCSU.

How can I use these courses?

Some classes may meet dual enrollment opportunities with your high school program; all Dual Credit courses count on your college transcript. Dual Credit courses provide a great start on your VCSU degree and readily transfer to any college or university in North Dakota. Early Entry students will receive a transcript indicating their college credit. Most coursework will transfer out of state as well; please check with the school you plan to attend.

How do I enroll?

To enroll in courses, you must first complete a VCSU application for admission. Please complete the Early Entry Registration Form which includes an approval from your high school Principal/Counselor.

How will classes at VCSU fit with my high school program?

Classes are offered in a variety of formats during the regular school day, during the evening, online and through the Interactive Video Network (IVN).

Which classes should I take?

You may consider any course that interests you and counts toward the General Education Requirements at the University you are planning to attend. Your high school counselor will be able to help you plan.

At VCSU, you will be charged for tuition, fees and textbooks. That's it! No dorm room or food service bills, just a strong head-start on your future! Access the Net Price Calculator.
