The 2013 Barnes County Boys Basketball Tournament takes place December 10, 12 and 14 at Valley City State University.

Eight area Class B schools will converge at the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse to compete for the Barnes County Tournament title. This year's field of teams is strong, and includes the Class B State Champion Milnor Bison.

Defending Class B State champion Milnor headlines the tournament as the top overall seed and will take on Barnes County North in the first game of the tournament at 3 p.m. on Dec. 10.

Four-time defending Barnes County Tournament champion Maple Valley is the No. 4 seed. The Raiders will take on No. 5 Sargent Central at 4:30 p.m. in the opening round as they try for five straight titles.

LaMoure-Litchville-Marion, which placed fourth at the state tournament last year, is the No. 2 seed and will play No. 7 Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page in the first round at 6 p.m.

The Enderlin Eagles are the No. 3 seed and will take on No. 6 Griggs County Central at 7:30 p.m.

Play begins at 3 p.m. on both Tuesday, Dec. 10, and Thursday, Dec. 12. The final day of games begins at noon on Saturday, Dec. 14. The championship game is set for 4:30 p.m. Dec. 14. All games will be played at the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse on the campus of Valley City State University.
