The Vikings had another outstanding offensive day with Jason Beilke passing for 352 yds and four touchdowns. Coming into the week Beilke was leading the nation in passing yards per game along with his favorite target Chauncey Calhoun who was leading the nation in receiving yards per game. On Saturday it was another senior receiver who had a break out game. Dan Hill caught 11 balls for 129 yds and two touchdowns.

In spite of out gaining the Beavers 423-313 on offense, the Vikings could not overcome the MSU running attack led by senior Nick Banks. Banks rushed 36 times for 202 yds and two touchdowns. Banks effort helped Minot control the time of possession and wear down the Viking front seven.

The Vikes are back in action for their homecoming game on Oct. 4th against Dickinson State at Lokken Field. Game time is 1:30PM.
