Valley City--The Viking baseball team had a home series moved to Omaha, NE, to start the DAC season.

Now, they're getting one back.

The four-game series scheduled between the Vikings and Dickinson State for Dickinson this weekend is moving to Valley City and Charlie Brown Memorial baseball field.

Crews blew the remaining snow off the field yesterday, and head coach Casey Olney confirmed that the field is ready to play on for the weekend. Dickinson State is still struggling to get a field ready.

Doubleheaders will start at 1:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. The Vikings are 4-0 in Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) play, as is Dickinson State. The Vikings are 11-8 overall, and the Bluehawks are 12-7.
