Over the past year and into this coming school year we have and will be updating our campus! Going to be living is a residence hall? Consider our newly remodeled Snoeyenbos Hall, it is now co-ed and has been converted into suites! We've also installed new field turf on Shelly Ellig Field at Lokken Stadium, updated classrooms and offices, and made upgrades in the Student Lounge and Skoal Room at the Student Center.


Perhaps the biggest upgrade, however, is the $10.3 Million renovation and addition to our Rhodes Science Center! The project has been underway since November 2011 and is projected to be complete for fall 2013 - they've already got a giant hole and are working on pouring the concrete for the walls!

You can also view a live camera feed of the renovation taking place now, or see pictures of the construction here. Or you can always come visit us on campus and see it up close and personal!

Because of the effort you put into school you might qualify for a scholarship from VCSU! Students can mail their transcripts to VCSU and we will evaluate their transcripts to see if they qualify for a scholarship. If a student qualifies, we will mail out an award letter!

Numerous scholarships are awarded to new Valley City State University students each year. In fact, 83% of our student body receives some kind of scholarship. Awards are very competitive and the best time to apply is before the priority deadline of January 15th. The earlier the better!
