VCSU Student Chapter of the Wildlife Society
VCSU has an active Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society. The Wildlife Society is the professional society for those involved in wildlife careers. Some of the past activities that the Student Chapter have done include:
- Annually attending the North Dakota Chapter of The Wildlife Society Conference
- Multiple community service projects such as putting and maintaining wood duck boxes
- Hunting and fishing together
- Trap shooting
- Archery shoots
- Camping and hiking trips
- Canoeing
- Running Jr. Naturalist Events

Annually, we take 10-15 students to the ND Chapter of The Wildlife Society Conference.
