VCSU faculty and staff giving opportunities

VCSU Foundation giving logo

Giving is a personal decision and our individual reasons for contributing are many. But we have at least one common purpose – to support the reason we’re all here – our students! Employees are the heart of Valley City State University. Every day, you make a difference at VCSU by sharing your ideas, talents, and expertise. Your participation in the Faculty & Staff Giving Campaign is just one way that you can join together with your colleagues to show your support for the university and make VCSU even stronger.

72 percent of VCSU employees gave through the Faculty and Staff Campaign last year. There are over 15 funds you can choose from to directly support your passions anywhere at VCSU. Any gift amount, even as little as $5, counts toward participation for your department. Take advantage of the opportunity and unite with your peers to make a difference today.

Making a gift is quick and easy! Gifts can be made via check, credit card, automatic withdrawal from bank account or through payroll deduction.

Any contribution made to the VCSU Foundation during the fiscal year (July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022) makes you a participant. If you’ve already made your gift for this fiscal year, THANK YOU!

This year we have introduced a few incentives –

All donors that make their donation or pledge by Nov. 18 to the VCSU Foundation, will receive a free VCSU branded gift.
All faculty and staff members who have never donated before that give $50 or more by Nov. 18, will be entered in a weekly drawing for a $50 VCSU Bookstore gift card. Drawings will be held each Wednesday of the campaign.

Offices with 100% participation in the campaign by Nov. 18, will be delivered a coffee break treat.
Faculty and staff that increase their payroll deduction or start a new payroll deduction by Nov. 18, will be entered into a drawing for a reserved parking spot for the rest of the academic year.
We encourage you to join us in making a donation to help support students at VCSU. Remember, every gift helps, no matter how big or small.

A VCSU Foundation staff member will be contacting each of our faculty and staff over the next month. If you have questions in the meantime, please go to our Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign webpage for frequently asked questions and more information on how to make your donation https://www.vcsualumni.org/ways-to-give/vcsu-faculty-and-staff-giving.html or contact Kim Hesch at kim.hesch@vcsu.edu or 701-845-7403.
