VCSU Department of Music presents 2023 North Dakota Collegiate Band

VCSU Department of Music presents the 2023 North Dakota Intercollegiate Band on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. in the Center for the Arts. The concert will feature a guest ensemble by the 188th Army Band ND Army National Guard.Intercollegiate band graphic

Career & Internship Expo rescheduled

Due to weather concerns the Career & Internship Expo originally scheduled for Feb. 21 has been rescheduled and will take place Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the VCSU Student Center.

The public is invited to attend.

VCSU Wellness Fair set for March 1

VCSU invites you to attend the annual Wellness Fair on Wednesday, March 1 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Student Center. There will be hands on activities, wellness information and door prizes from 30 different campus, local and state entities! Wellness Fair graphic

Participants can try a variety of screenings and testings such as Dermascan and InBody 270 and also have a chance at amazing door prizes such as workout gear, cooking appliances and gift cards.

VCSU employees who attend will also receive a voucher for 3000 points towards their wellness benefit.

Men’s Basketball
Feb. 21: VCSU 72 Bellevue University 54
The VCSU men’s basketball won its opening game in the NSAA Postseason Tournament, defeating Bellevue University. The Vikings advance to the NSAA Final Four on Saturday and Sunday in Watertown, S.D.

Women’s Basketball
Feb. 21: Dickinson State 68, VCSU 50
The VCSU women’s basketball team had its season come to a close on Tuesday night, losing at Dickinson State in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament. The Vikings finish the year with a 14-14 overall record.

Softball
Feb. 17: VCSU 10, Jamestown 6; MSUM 12, VCSU 3
Feb. 18: Doane University 4, VCSU 3; VCSU 13, College of Saint Mary 1
Viking Softball posted a 2-2 record last weekend at the Presentation College Dome Tournament. The Vikings are now 5-7 overall. They will resume the season March 11 with a trip to Tucson, Ariz.
