Academic Teacher Education Partnerships
Valley City State University is proud to partner with local North Dakota and regional schools to offer unique partnerships, allowing students to pursue educational opportunities such as earning a teaching license to educate youth in your area. VCSU has beneficial partnerships with schools in Wyoming, College of DuPage in Illinois as well as North Dakota colleges. Whether you’re a first-time college student, taking a break from your career or transferring to VCSU, you’ll have a place in our program. Take advantage of the powerhouse educational opportunities to earn your degree from VCSU and another school simultaneously, resulting in a four-year degree and a teaching license.
Wyoming Teacher Education Partnership
Wyoming students are able to take advantage of the partnerships forged between Valley City State University and Wyoming colleges. Students in this program will complete their associate’s degree at their chosen Wyoming campus, then transfer to VCSU to earn a bachelor’s degree. Programs available include:

College of DuPage Teacher Education Partnership
Valley City State University has one of the best education programs in the United States.
The 3+1 education teaching programs have been structured for College of DuPage students and include elementary, technology and engineering, history, math, and English.
Students studying to become licensed teachers will have the opportunity to student teach in their local area and to work as a paraprofessional while completing online coursework.
