Virtual Commencement and live-streamed Senior Awards Program

Dear students, faculty and staff,

Save the dates!

To honor our graduating class of 2020, Valley City State University will hold a virtual commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16, starting at 10 a.m. Central Daylight Time.

Our virtual ceremony will be played on the university’s YouTube channel, VCSUVikings (www.youtube.com/user/VCSUVikings/). The event will appear on this YouTube channel that Saturday morning.

Although we wish we could honor the Class of 2020 with an in-person commencement ceremony, we trust that this virtual ceremony will provide a way to honor our graduates and their accomplishments.

Please note that all Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 graduates are also welcome to participate in one of our next in-person commencement ceremonies in December 2020 or May 2021.

In addition to the virtual ceremony on Saturday, May 16, we will host the annual Senior Awards Program with a live streaming event through Microsoft Teams on Thursday, May 14, at 7 p.m. Central Daylight Time. During the Senior Awards Program, each of the VCSU academic departments will recognized their outstanding seniors with award presentations. All seniors graduating with honors will also be recognized.
