COVID-19 RAPID & CONVENTIONAL testing scheduled TODAY @ the Bubble!

COVID-19 walk-in RAPID & CONVENTIONAL testing event:
Monday, April 19
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
VCSU – W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse “The Bubble”

General public entrance/parking: WEST SIDE

RAPID tests give results within 15 minutes. This type of test is a self-swab of both nostrils. If you are symptomatic and your rapid test result is negative, we will follow it up with a PCR/conventional test (oral swab)–those results still come back in 3-5 days.
MUST pre-register at testreg.nd.gov

How do I know if I should be tested for COVID-19?

According to CDC, Institutions of Higher Education might test students, faculty, or staff for purposes of surveillance, diagnosis, screening, or in the context of an outbreak.
Individuals should be considered for and offered testing if they:

  • Show signs or symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (diagnostic).
  • Have a recent known or suspected exposure to a person with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (diagnostic).
  • Are in a community where public health officials are recommending expanded testing on a voluntary basis including testing of a sample of asymptomatic individuals, especially in areas of moderate to high community transmission (screening).
