VCSU Singers present Choral Evensong

The VCSU Singers will present Choral Evensong at 7 p.m. on March 11 at Gethsemane Episcopal Cathedral in Fargo. Gethsemane Cathedral is located at 3600 25th St S, Fargo, N.D. 58104. Face masks are required.

Evensong is a worship service in the Anglican faith tradition, created as a combination of the monastic offices of Vespers and Compline. The service consists of readings, hymns, anthems, psalms, responses, and canticles, most all of which are sung by the choir in a choral evensong service. The music presented by the VCSU Singers during the service will include historical works by Richard Ayleward, Thomas Tallis, William Byrd, Gregorio Allegri, and Anton Bruckner.
