Did you have an on-campus or off-campus job?
During my undergrad I worked for the residence life department as a resident assistant, and an assistant hall director. During my master’s program I worked as a Hall director and graduate assistant for the softball team.

Did you have a favorite professor or person who has influenced you on campus? Why?
I had so many people that have influenced me during my time at VCSU. From advisors, professors, staff, and faculty and even my peers. I think that’s what makes VCSU so special. There are so many people that play such huge roles in the success of students. Being able to have that much support from different outlets is truly impacting.

Any cool experiences you’d like to share?
The coolest experience I had in college was going to the college world series my freshman year. Not only was it a once in a lifetime opportunity but I got to experience it with the best team!

What does VCSU mean to you?
I owe a lot to this university. VCSU has provided me with so many opportunities to grow as a person. VCSU gave me the opportunity for self-discovery, intellectual growth, and personal development. VCSU offers a platform for students to thrive in many aspects while forming lifelong relationships.

What is your story? How did you end up at VCSU?
I ended up at VCSU mainly because I was getting recruited on the softball team. But I truly fell in love with everything VCSU had to offer.

What are your dreams and ambitions or career goals now after graduation?
I don’t have the exact career that I am looking at right now but ideally, I would like to do something that involves both of my degrees with health science and IT.
