Customer Relationship Management (Certificate)1.800.532.8641 ext. 7521
Working in CRM involves understanding how a company interacts with their customers and finding ways to use CRM software to enhance their customer relationship. A CRM consultant position installs, configures and customizes the software, but probably the most important piece is understanding the strategies the business can implement to give their customers a positive experience. You can get into the CRM Track with just about any major (see list of most common majors under degree type) - all you need are the following classes: - Introduction to Programming in Java (or equivalent) - Business Language (Visual Basic) (or equivalent) - Database Theory/Design (or equivalent) - Internet languages (Visual Basic Script, Java Script and XML) (or equivalent). After that, all you have left is a one-semester CRM class and a two-semester paid internship with a CRM software company like Eagle Creek Software Services. |
